Ordinary passport holders of the Republic of Kenya will not be required to be in possession of port of entry visa for a period not exceeding 90 days per calendar year.

The following are some of the strict requirements which should be observed:

  1. The passport must have at least one full unused VISA page for entry/departure stamping. (Endorsement pages of passport not counted as free pages).
  2. A passport or travel document valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of your intended visit.
  3. A valid yellow-fever vaccination certificate. (10 days maturity).
  4. If you have children (minors) traveling with you or joining in South Africa, you will need to provide the following additional documents –
    1. Proof of guardianship or custody or
    2. Consent from the guardian in the case of an unaccompanied minor.
  5. Sufficient funds to pay for your day-to-day expenses during your stay.
  6. A must to have a valid return or onward ticket.
  7. Randomly a guest may be subjected to immigration interviews at the airport of entry.
